Thanks for visiting this page, you won’t regret it.

If you are here, it means that someone must think you are pretty special, and that you deserve to have the best year of your life in 2009.

If you want to make 2009 your best year ever, then all you have to do is watch the video above and follow the instructions.

Together we can make 2009 the best year ever.

  • You didn't think I was going to go through all this trouble and not share my own personal goals, did you? :-)

So here they are, my goals for 2009, in no particular order (I'll probably add more as I think of them):

    1) Start a family with my wonderful wife, Kari.

    2) Make at least 6 speaking/presentation appearances.

    3) Improve the market share of our brokerage by 20%.

    4) Spread the word about social media in order to benefit the organizations in my local community.

    5) Referee a Virginia State High School Basketball Tournament game.

    6) Increase my NCAA officiating schedule by at least 3 games.

    7) Travel overseas

    8) Have fun
  • I am proud to be the first person to view and consume the cool fortune cookie. My first goal is to try to be half as enthusiastic as Daniel about goal setting.
  • Thanks for sharing the "fortune" Mike! Nice challenge Daniel.
  • Great video, Daniel!

My goals in no particular order:

    1) Enroll in a photography class! I've wanted to do this for a couple years now and just haven't had the time. This is the year!

    2) Make it back home to Beantown at least once every 6 weeks to see the fam.

    3) Not drink as much coffee! Only one cup a day.

    4) Learn more about the RE business from all of the RE peeps I interact with on a weekly basis.

    5) Grow Propertyqube! We're around 28k uniques a month. We want to grow that to 220k uniques a month by the end of the year with an increase in average time spent on the site.

    6) Spend less time on NYTimes.com
  • 1 - Do something unexpected
2 - Disconnect from SM more often
    3 - Volunteer more
4 - Grow my respective blogs' reach by 25%
5 - Focus on what I do well (and figure that out in the process)

I would like to be the first person to comment on your #1 goal – I couldn’t tell you how happy that would make me! :D I’m already picking out “I love my Auntie” onesies.

    My personal goals for 2009:

-Drink at least one glass of water per day (sounds small but it will be hard for me!)
    -Get myself healthy
    -Have a healthy relationship
-Get promoted at work or find another job
    -Keep a clean house
-Learn how to laugh more and not take life too seriously
-Find something that helps me release stress: Maybe yoga?
    -Get a massage
    - Really learn the meaning of taking one day at a time and not rush everything.
  • Daniel:

Interesting that I found your blog. I am reading "Selling to Zebras," by Jeff Koser & Chad Koser and was interested in applying this type of focus to my Real Estate Business. Are you associated with the authors?
  • Daniel Rothamel
    Mariana,

Thanks for stopping by! Nope, I'm not affiliated with the Kosers at all, but I took a look at their website, and it looks interesting. I'll have to check out the book. How is it?
